Halls Lake and Toboggan Run Four season family resort destination for celebrating long weekends, enjoying winter and summer vacations and weekend getaways in a country setting on Halls Lake.

Celebrate your New Years getaway in the country, we have family cottages and studio cabins in the Haliburton Highlands Ontario Canada.

This New Year marks the end of year and the beginning of the next year.

Bring in the New Year down by the waterfront with fireworks.

The Loralea is comprised of seven cabins and cottage rentals most with fireplaces located on Halls lake north of Minden Ontario on highways #35.

On site activities include tobogganing our hill, ice skating if weather permits, ice fishing, access to snowmobile trails, dogsledding at Winterdance, cross country and downhill skiing are nearby.

Cross Country Skiing or Snowshoeing at the Frost Centre

For great cross-country skiing visit the Leslie Frost Nordic Ski Centre on Ontario's Haliburton Highlands - Muskoka border. Seven stacked loops of trails provide access to a winter wonderland that features rugged terrain, mixed hardwood forests, majestic stands of white pine and hemlock, cliff top lookouts and frozen waterfalls.

It is located 7 minutes from the resort on highway 35, ten minutes south of the picturesque hamlet of Dorset, right beside the old Frost Centre Institute.
